Flying Jets

It's been quite a while since I've updated this journal!! Around here things are "running" really fast! Literally flying! I've finish the syllabus for the first airplane and now I'm flying a really fast jet! It's called the T-38 Talon, and for those who remember "Top Gun" it's the jet that is shown as a Mig. And with a top speed of 710kts (something like 1300km/h) it's a hell of a fun jet to fly! But... it's not all fun... there's a lot of study and preparation for each single flight... it's not just like u can pull over and wait for a toe. You pretty much gotta understand "her"(the jet) as if you're going to build one yourself!
I've been trying to take some pictures while i'm around here, and I'll keep you posted! This week there will be some opportunities to take some photos to the jet since my class should be going solo (including myself of course)!

I'll try to go out and take some pictures of the surrounding area, but there's really not much to see... how i miss my beautiful Portugal!!
This has been a pretty intense program and I'm without a break since December 2008, only a couple of 3 day weekends (where I've been trying to visit some other places)! I'll have a 2weeks break in December, and back on until i finish on the April 2nd 2010!
